Mo Hamzian is one of the foremost phygital entrepreneurs of the AI era. Over $250M in capital raised and three different companies led across sports, finance, and real-estate attest to Mo’s transformational leadership.

His extensive executive experience includes fundraising, investment strategy, and capital management for Kid Gold Capital and Ludstone; product development and company strategy as CEO at Sportskred; and enterprise strategy coupled with high-tech physical-digital design as CEO of VEL.

Mo’s vision extends beyond business to the industrial design of VEL’s groundbreaking AI-powered spaces built to eliminate distractions and enhance focus. These have been deployed across the United States at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott Hotel, SXSW, and Chicago’s Union Station.

Born in war-torn Iran, Mo witnessed in firsthand how failing systems destroy the human experience. Systems either clear our path and propel us forward, or put up unnecessary walls, sapping our energy and potency. His upbringing and academic journey instilled in him the core belief that humans can be better at being human—which eventually became his calling.

Mo’s writings about the future of work, urban development, and the psychology of spaces has been featured widely in publications, most notably Rolling Stone, Forbes, USA Today and Venture Beat. He has been a featured speaker at several conferences around the world, most notably SXSW, eMerge Americas, and the Simon Leadership Alliance.

In his spare time Mo’s humanistic passion touches the realm of boxing and motorsports (though he won’t be quitting his day job to pursue either). He hosts annual initiatives the London School of Business that empower students to become the purpose-guided leaders of the future.

When our spaces fail to support us, happiness, efficiency, and connection take a massive hit. My life’s work is to restore personal sovereignty and connection in a world increasingly bereft of both.
